Please read this as information only. It is not intended to be advice.

I don't have a great deal of understanding of how what I'm doing works, and I have no background in pharmacology or science. However, I've spoken to many people (biochemists, GPs and integrative practitioners) who do, and they all provided research papers advocating for the use, or potential use, of everything below as part of a an integrative protocol for helping to treat cancer and its side effects.

I don't know what, specifically, is working. Nor do I know if it has been necessary to take all or many of the supplements below. What I do know is that something is working because I am now almost two years past my 'sell by date'. This was not mooted as a possibility following the orthodox treatment pathway.

I reiterate: I am not suggesting all/some of the below is a cure. I am saying that in conjunction with chemotherapy and surgery, it has extended my life. What follows remains to be seen.

I've been disciplined in sticking with the regimen. It takes at least two hours a day and can be tiring, but I'm not stopping any time soon.

Diet & Nutrition:

Since surgery, I’ve had to add white carbs to my diet to help control my ileostomy output. I had completely omitted these from my diet beforehand and will do so again when my ileostomy is reversed.

  • Mostly organic: vegetables, nuts, seeds, oils, fish. (Lots of BOMBS).

  • Organic oatmeal for breakfast.

  • 1 daily pint of carrot, celery and ginger juice

  • Fermented foods: goats’ milk kefir, kimchi, unpasteurised hard cheese, cottage cheese, brown rice miso. One or two of these a day.

  • Organic coffee (loads - 4 strong cups+)

  • 1 shot of of chlorella

  • Daily smoothie (1/2 pints): Pommegranate seeds, other berries, kale, beetroot, sprouting seeds, seaweed, linseed oil, nuts/seeds, Nigella seeds, tumeric root, Matcha, black pepper, prebiotic inulin, potassium, unwaxed lemon (inc. rind). Sometimes whey/hemp protein powder.

Lifestyle adjustments for cancer:

  • PEMF therapy daily for one hour switching between two frequencies (I use this much more intermittently now)

  • Gym three-five days a week: push ups, rowing machine, stretching, calisthenics.

  • Once weekly psychotherapy.

  • Meditation/breathing: Headspace, body scans, Wim Hof, Prana, Breath of Fire, 3 minute ‘hourglass meditations’. Something daily, no formal structure. Rarely more than 15-20 minutes.

  • Positive outcome visualisations.

  • Cut out: smoking, alcohol, processed food, sugar, excessive working hours, red meat, unhealthy friendships.
